AllClients vs Follow Up Boss

AllClients is client management software for small business, built around follow-up. Landing pages, forms, email marketing, follow-up automation and AI are included in every plan, starting at $24 a month. It's built for the non-technical owner who sells to consumers and runs the follow-up themselves.

Follow Up Boss is a real estate CRM built for teams, priced per user. It's built around lead flow: leads come in from your portals and website, get routed to agents, and get worked by phone, text and email. Built-in calling is a paid add-on on their entry plan, and websites and landing pages come from separate products you connect.

The short version

One is a real estate CRM built around lead flow, the other is client management software for any business that runs on follow-up. Here's the quickest way to tell which one is yours.

Follow Up Boss is the better fit if

  • You run a real estate team and buy leads from portals
  • Speed to lead is the whole game: route it, call it, text it, now
  • You manage agents and need call reporting and accountability
  • You already have a website and lead sources you want plugged in

AllClients is the better fit if

  • You're a solo agent or a small office, and the database is the business
  • Your deals come from past clients and referrals more than portal leads
  • You want landing pages, newsletters and automation in the plan, not assembled around it
  • Your book mixes real estate with mortgage, insurance or other lines

How each one is organized

Underneath the feature lists and the pricing, the two products are built for different shapes of business. That's the difference that should decide it.

Follow Up Boss is built around the new lead

A lead comes in from a portal or your website, gets routed to an agent, and the clock starts. Action Plans, calling, texting and the reporting are all built around working that lead fast and holding the team accountable for it.

AllClients is built around the long relationship

The unit is a person you'll know for years: the past client who sends referrals, the prospect who buys in 2028. Workflows, autoresponders, newsletters and Boards are built around staying in front of a list over time, automatically.

Where Follow Up Boss earns its price. The pieces it leaves out are left out on purpose. Follow Up Boss is an open platform: it does lead routing, calling and agent accountability better than anyone, and it connects to the website, IDX and marketing systems you pick. For a team converting portal leads at volume, that assembly is the right architecture, and the per-user price buys a genuinely deep team product. The question is whether that's the business you run.

If your business is a lead conversion machine, a team, a lead budget, a speed-to-lead standard, running that machine is what Follow Up Boss is built for. If your business is a database that sends you deals because you never disappear from it, that's follow-up, and follow-up is what AllClients was built for.

The pricing follows from the same split. Follow Up Boss charges per user because it's built for a roster of agents working shared lead flow. AllClients includes users in the plan because in most AllClients accounts, the second user is an assistant, not another rep with a pipeline.

Where Follow Up Boss is the better tool

Lead routing

Leads flow in from 200-plus sources and get distributed by round robin, first to claim, or price and ZIP rules. If leads arrive faster than one person can work them, this is the point of the product.

Calling and texting

A built-in dialer, individual agent numbers, call recording and a company number make the phone part of the CRM. AllClients treats calling as something you do, not something it runs.

Team accountability

Call reporting, team inboxes, agent activity reporting and leaderboards are built for a team leader coaching to a standard.

Real estate ecosystem

The integration list is real-estate-native: IDX websites, portal lead sources, and the tools agents already run.

Where AllClients is the better tool

Lead capture in the same product

The landing page and the form that capture the lead are in the plan, not a separate website product you connect and pay for.

Users are included, not counted

The plan covers its users. Adding an assistant doesn't add a seat charge.

Built for the database you already have

The design assumes revenue comes from past clients and referrals you stay in front of for years, not from a purchased lead worked in the first five minutes.

Not just real estate

The same plan runs a mortgage practice, an insurance agency or a home services business, so the tool doesn't have to be replaced if the work changes.

Questions people ask

Is Follow Up Boss cheaper than AllClients?

Depends on headcount and what you count. Follow Up Boss is priced per user, with built-in calling as a paid add-on on the entry plan, and the website that captures your leads is a separate product on top. AllClients is priced per account: Select at $24 a month includes the landing page, the email marketing and the automation, and Premium at $48 includes two users. For one person doing the whole job in one product, that's one line item against several.

Is AllClients built for real estate?

AllClients is a small-business CRM that a lot of agents run their database on, not a real-estate-specific product. There's no MLS integration and no transaction management. What agents use it for is the part of the business those tools don't cover: keeping the whole sphere in one place and staying in front of it with automated follow-up and newsletters, from $24 a month.

Can I move my contacts over from Follow Up Boss?

Yes. Export your contacts from Follow Up Boss as a CSV and AllClients will bring them in for you. Data migration is free and there are no setup fees.

Do I need Follow Up Boss's calling and routing features?

If you're on a team working shared portal leads, probably yes, and Follow Up Boss is the right place to get them. If you're a solo agent working your own sphere, routing has nothing to route and the dialer is your cell phone. The features that earn their keep solo are the ones that keep you in front of your list: automation, email and a page that captures leads, which is the job AllClients packages into one plan.
