Include the “Other Contact” in Your Email Blasts

Make sure Email Blasts are sent to both contact emails.

You’re going to send an Email Blast to a group of contacts and you want to include the Other Contact in your blast.

Let’s do that.

Here’s Tim and Karen’s contact card. Tim is the main contact and Karen is the other contact. You see both of them have email addresses and both are opted in.

When we send emails to our Contacts, of course they have to be opted in, and that includes the other contact as well. 

Now let’s jump over to ClientTouch.

We’re going to send out our newsletter to 85 people, So we’re gonna hit Email Blast and then select the newsletter template we want to send out.

At the bottom here you’ll notice there are 2 check boxes, 

“also send this email to the other contact” is the one we want to check.

So I’ll check the box and now when I send this email out to my 85 contacts it will also send a separate email to the other contact listed in the contact card. 

One thing to note, if you use this check box it’s going to stay checked the next time you go to send out an email blast.

If you want to make sure it doesn’t go to the other contact, remember to un check that box.
