Add a Link Inside an Email

Add a hyperlink in your email.

Let’s say you want to add a link in an email, so a link would be to an outside website. Let’s do that now. I’m going to go to one of my emails here, Happy Birthday and it says click here for a two room special. Let’s say you wanted to put your link right here and your link was All right, even though obviously that wouldn’t be it, but you wouldn’t just do this. Okay, that’s not going to work. What you need to do is highlight it and click on this chain, which is called insert hyperlink and this screen’s going to come up and you put the actual URL right here.

Don’t forget to put the HTTP or HTTPS. It’s not just WWW that’s not going to work. I’m going to click okay and now that link is a real link. I save it and if I go back here, let’s look at the Happy Birthday. There it is and if I click on Google, there’s Google. All right, so that’s how to do it. Now, you can also, do it this way. You don’t have to put a website here, I can put in Carl’s special deal and I can underline it, but then remember, I have to go set up the link. I’m going to go up here. I’m going to highlight it, click on the chain hyperlink, put in my we address and click okay. Now, when I look at this email, it says, click here for two rooms special, Carl’s special deal and I click right there on the link and there’s Google.

That’s how to do it. Have fun with it.
